We are huge fans of Galapagos Art Space in Dumbo, Brooklyn and are so psyched whenever we are asked to shoot there. They are on the way to being New York City’s first LEED certified ‘green’ cultural venue and host incredible cultural events, in addition to weddings and all sorts of parties. This particular night was a combination Springtime Floating Kabarette and birthday party for the lucky Brendan, hosted by the hilarious Olga & Bjorn with amazing performances all night long.
This may well have been the most fun we’ve ever invoked our Ninja photojournalistic skills for. This awesome guy asked us to shoot him proposing to his girlfriend at Bethesda Fountain in Central Park. BUT he wanted to do it without his lovely soon to be fiance knowing we were photographing them. He choreographed everything perfectly, and we worked in conjunction with the hired guitar player to find the exact right spot for the proposal. Magic ensued…

First birthdays are awesome and we were thrilled when asked to shoot this little guy’s special day. We are such suckers for love! Baby love, puppy love, and plain old sappy romantic wedding love. (sigh) We think it’s pretty sweet that we get to be a part of so many of these special days…
Are you dying? I’m dying… We had the best time shooting Wrigley, the world’s cutest French Bulldog puppy and Noah, the world’s cutest Dachshund puppy. Wrigley’s photo shoot was a Valentine’s Day gift to his pop and it was hard not to sneak him out in our camera bag. Noah is the boss-man at Canine Styles and I am IN LOVE.
