Lisa + Max | Brooklyn wedding…
October 16, 2011 – 9:36 am
Lisa and Max were married in Brooklyn. There were blessings under the chuppah and the most breathtakingly beautiful Havdalah service and exchange of rings outside in Brooklyn Bridge Park. Guests were led to and from the park by groomsmen and family members with guitars playing “All You Need Is Love” by the Beatles. Amazing…
Devon + Rob | Galapagos Art Space Brooklyn Wedding…
September 29, 2011 – 11:52 am
Devon and Rob got married in Brooklyn Bridge Park and had an amazingly fun reception at Galapagos Art Space that was full of tasty food (a Waffles and Dinges truck came!) and awesome tunes. However, it was Piper, the ridiculously sweet pup you’ll see featured below, who really stole the show… Wishing Devon and Rob all the best! xo

Maureen + Rob | A NYC Hurricane Irene Wedding…
September 19, 2011 – 5:46 pm
What would you do if there was a mandatory evacuation of your wedding venue the day before your wedding and a ton of your extended family had already flown in from out of the country to be with you?
Horrifying question, isn’t it?
Maureen and Rob were scheduled to be married on Saturday afternoon in Zone A of Hurricane Irene’s impending NYC arrival, and after we heard about the mandatory evacuation we nervously waited to hear from them. The call came at 3pm on Friday, and Maureen asked if we could be there in two hours because the priest said he’d marry them at the rehearsal. Game on. What we witnessed from then on was pure magic and love: family members stepped in to do hair and makeup, organize the reception and make the night work. The Hank Lane Band quickly put together a band for the evening and Scaletta hosted the evening at a moments notice… Maureen was the loveliest bride and we were so impressed with her calm and sweetness and the fact that the only tears we saw all night were tears of joy and appreciation…

New York City Hall Wedding | Maria + Kirsten…
September 1, 2011 – 11:10 am
Maria and Kirsten are the Founders, Publisher and Editor in Chief of Equally Wed magazine, an amazing resource for same sex couples who are planning to marry. I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing Maria and Kirsten last year when they were in town for the Illegal Wedding Fair, and it was a huge honor to be asked to shoot their NYC City Hall ceremony.
