I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing the talented duo of Editor in Chief, Kirsten Palladino and Publisher, Maria Palladino of Equally Wed Magazine when they were in town as the national media sponsors of the Illegal Wedding Fair.  Kirsten and Maria started Equally Wed after planning their own wedding and realizing how few resources were out there and they are doing an amazing job- we were psyched to see them featured in today’s New York Times!

There was so much love at Chris and Brian’s wedding, and we were so honored to be a part of their day.  This wedding started out in Connecticut in a beautiful park, where Brian and Chris were legally married with their families standing by in love and support of them.  Brian and Chris were later joined by family and friends at Stage Six at Steiner Studios in Brooklyn for an AMAZING ceremony and reception full of insanely delicious food, non-stop dancing (DJ Vito Fun is incredible) and happiness all around.

This was the first gay wedding we’ve ever shot or attended.  We fully support the human right of marriage and we hope that we will be attending many, many more of these beautiful weddings in our home state, and in every state, soon.

Angela and Austin had an awesome wedding at Galapagos Art Space that was full of beautiful details, amazing food (Blue Smoke BBQ!) and an incredibly fun bunch of folks. If you haven’t already, check out the photo booth!

You could see the talent these two possess everywhere.  Angela made the gorgeous necklace you see her wearing and designed all the invites, menus, and table cards. Austin made the gorgeous wedding rings himself.

We were totally unprepared for how much FUN this silly photo booth was going to be!   Not only did the guests love it, we had a blast just being nearby.  As you will see, things got crazy in a very, very good way…  Many congrats go out to Angela and Austin!  We’ll have the wedding coverage up soon! I think it’s safe to say that this last shot was taken at the very end of the night… :)  Hey look- you can see Matt on the left!  I think I must have been hovering near the cake table when this one was shot otherwise I totally would have snuck in too…
