This New Year’s Eve wedding at the Hyatt at Penn’s Landing in Philadelphia was incredible!  Isis, the lovely and talented powerhouse behind Posh Events had the ultimate task of being a “bride” for the day and not the planner, which is quite a feat for those of us who are passionate about our work.  Isis pulled it off beautifully, not only did she have a gorgeous wedding full of beautiful details, she also managed to relax and enjoy her incredible wedding and party (much to the credit of her planner, Deidre, of Always a Positive Image).

We met Charlie and Isis last year when we shot their engagement session on a brutally cold February night and we adored them IMMEDIATELY.  We ran around Times Square in the freezing cold and laughed till we cried frozen tears while shooting long exposures of the city skyline in Jersey City.  There are few couples in the world we would have given our New Year’s Eve up for, but these two were totally worth it.

Ok, can we talk about the FIREWORKS!?  Somehow the 6pm fireworks coincided perfectly with Charlie and Isis seeing each other for the first time before the wedding, and then the midnight fireworks were still going strong as they had their first dance as husband and wife.  The band, CTO 5th Avenue was incredible and everyone danced and welcomed the New Year with Charlie and Isis.  It was an amazing night!

We were also really psyched to work with Illumimoto Cinema again!  These guys are amazing and you should totally check them out.  You can see a preview clip of Isis’ wedding they did here.

Amy and Tom were married in a beautiful church ceremony in Ridgewood, NJ followed by an incredible reception at The Foundry in Long Island City. We were looking forward to hearing the music by The Dexter Lake Club Band and they were awesome. It was an amazing night all around…

There really aren’t words to describe how kind and lovely Hope is, or how talented and sincere Brian is.  And there really aren’t words to describe just  how much we like them, either…

Hope and Brian had the most insanely fun wedding- they started off at The Park in Chelsea for their ceremony and dinner and moved down to the Living Room on the Lower East Side for a reception/after party that included a performance by Rawles Bawles.  (Folks, Rawles Balls is completely awesome and hilarious and you should absolutely go see them.)  We’d like to send Hope and Brian a big thank you for choosing us to capture such an important day for them and for treating us like friends along the way… <3

Hope and Brian got married a few weeks back and we will be blogging their photos soon!  In the meantime, they were featured in today’s NY Daily News “Down the Aisle” column (p. 22 to be exact) and we couldn’t resist sharing…
